Verizon Wireless first launched the Samsung Galaxy Nexus last year for $299.99, where you use it with a two-year agreement, which is pretty much the standard operating procedure for the previous few big smartphone releases. Considering how the Samsung Galaxy S3 is just under a month away from its release, Verizon intends to free up some space on their store shelves and decided to drop the price of the Galaxy Nexus by $50 from its current $199.99 contract price. This price cut would mean it will cost less than half the price of the original, and this particular discount is made available for online transactions only.
