Lamborghini's next model to be 'LB 736' SUV instead of Estoque?

It was hinted not long ago that Lamborghini would be bringing a couple of brand new baubles to the Geneva Motor Show. Speculation was that one would certainly be the Aventador Roadster, but the other was more difficult to predict – the standard cries being a production version of the Sesto Elemento, a new sedan or a crossover. Well, we still can't be sure what else is coming to Geneva, but if the magazine scan at the Teamspeed forum can be believed – it comes from Italian mag Quattroroute – a new crossover will be heading our way shortly after the Switzerland expo.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus to get an upgraded GPU?

Samsung Galaxy Nexus to get an upgraded GPU?

NenaMark 2 is a popular Android benchmark for 3D performance and it offers an online database of results. Interestingly, a Samsung Galaxy Nexus with an updated GPU popped up in the results. The Galaxy Nexus uses a TI OMAP 4460 chipset, which packs a PowerVR SGX540 GPU. That's the same GPU Samsung used in the original Galaxy S. The interesting benchmark result (submitted anonymously) however claims it ran on PowerVR SGX544. It's used in the TI OMAP 4470 chipset, which suggest that the change is due to an upgraded chipset.

Anyway, the GPU scored 39.8fps, while the regular Galaxy Nexus got 24fps when we tested it.

Kepler just nearly doubled science's stock of known exoplanets

NASA released dramatic new findings from the planet-scouting Kepler spacecraft project Thursday. Looks like the universe is way, way more crowded than we had realized. The Space Administration announced Thursday that the Kepler Spacecraft has discovered 26 new exoplanets in 11 systems. This nearly doubles the number of confirmed exoplanets, bringing the tally to 60, and upping the number of known extra-solar star systems to 16. Another 2,300 celestial candidates are awaiting confirmation of their planet-ness.

Google recently released the latest version of its Google Earth - Google Earth 6.2 - that comes with a better imagery and a new search interface. On top of that, there are also new features that allow users to share images from within Google Earth and of course, integration with Google+. Unlike previously whereby images appear to be patchy because they are taken on different dates and under different conditions, Google Earth can now give a smoother image thanks to a new way of rendering the images.

In spite of the near-Pavlovian howling that commences anytime the BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo is mentioned, and in spite of the 5GT falling so short of its sales target that BMW has been forced to consider bringing back the 5 Series Touring, the ungainly hatch has outsold that wagon during its time on our shores. iWatch concept looks gorgeous

One thing great about concepts is this – you need not remain tied down to existing laws of physics or anything of that sort. Well, having said that, here is the iWatch concept that will definitely float your boat, considering how it will most probably never make it all the way to Apple's stores, be they online or otherwise. After all, I do not think for an instant that Apple will ever branch off into making digital timepieces, but let us pause for a moment and think – if Apple actually does anything of that sort, the end result might look something like this.

Motorola has previously announced an unlocking solution for the RAZR, but who would've thought that they were going to release a brand new device instead of offering an easy software solution.

During Nokia's earnings call, Elop said that while Nokia isn't announcing anything, there are tons of opportunities for other types of products:.
“The broader digital experience is coming into focus,” he said. “If you look at the overall Microsoft strategy, you see the consistency of user experience... across PCs, tablets and phones.

NADA: Dealers most happy with Hyundai, Subaru and Lexus

Car dealers have a strange and oftentimes contentious relationship with the carmakers. Stories of automakers shoveling unsaleable models down the pipeline with unreasonable expectations are legion in the car sales world. With the number of family-owned, single-brand dealerships dwindling, dealers often field competing franchises. The concept of loyalty is as quaint as a Lincoln Town Car. So it's worth noting the automotive brands that are actually liked by the guys selling them.

The National Automobile Dealers Association conducts its Dealer Attitude Survey twice each year, and results from the summer survey are in.

Such is the case with the Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet, after B&N’s latest update, shall we say, complicated things a bit.

What would a Nissan GT-R be without the racing pedigree that's helped make it what it is today. The truth is that we don't even want to know. But we don't have to, because the car known as Godzilla is as devastating on the race track as it is on the street. Very different racing versions have been made to challenge the FIA GT1 World Championship and for Japan's own Super GT series, the latter powered by a naturally aspirated V8 to satisfy regulations instead of the twin-turbo V6 in the production model. Getting your hands on either of these, however, could prove a bigger challenge than passing one in a race.

The foglight housings appear larger and more angular, giving the front end a slightly more aggressive appearance.
