Google's mysterious device pops up at the FCC again, requests for extended testing until August

Earlier this year during February, Google filed an FCC application for a mysterious device. Based on what was known at that time and the description given in the filing, many suspected that it might have something to do with the Android@Home project that Google debuted at last year's Google I/O. Now thanks to an even more FCC filing, it seems that Google has requested to extend its testing period of the device into August. While Google has yet to take the wraps off the device, some are speculating that thanks to its more recent FCC filing, it could be announced at Google I/O which will be taking place at the end of this month.
