Rumors of Apple planning to introduce its own maps app first surfaced last month. Sources from the web are saying that Apple has a headline feature for iOS 6, most specifically, a maps app that will allegedly ditch Google Maps from the iOS platform. But as far as the subject is concerned, we haven't really confirmed the rumors. Today, however, the Wall Street Journal is saying that Apple is replacing the default Google Maps service within its iOS operating system in exchange for its own mapping solution.
