Japan has just gotten its first LTE phone, and it just happens to be the Samsung Galaxy S II LTE. The Galaxy S II LTE is now available on NTT DoCoMo and will run on the carrier's Xi network with average download speeds of 37.5Mbps. Specs wise, the Galaxy S II LTE spots a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, a 4.5-inch screen with 480×800 resolution, Super AMOLED Plus display with Gorilla Glass, 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of onboard storage, and a 8 megapixel camera in the front with 1080 HD video recording and a 2 megapixel camera on the front.
The Galaxy S II LTE will set you back $260 (¥20,000) on a new two year contract.
