While Microsoft's Windows Phone market might not necessarily have the highest overall market share in terms of smartphones around the world, there are some markets in which Microsoft is excelling in, and a recent one is in Thailand. Speaking in Bangkok, MIcrosoft's International President revealed that their Windows Phone platform has managed to achieve a 15% of the Thai smartphone market share in a span of a little over a year. What's even more surprising is that 15 months before, the Windows Phone market share in Thailand was around 2-3%, so to see a leap from 2-3% to a massive 15% is indeed pretty impressive.
