As much as we were hoping LG would create a Google Play edition of the LG G2, some unfortunate news is threatening that dream. The Korean manufacturer has confirmed that it has no plans to create a Google Play edition LG G2. That doesn't mean that plans can't suddenly sprout up in the future, but there's nothing in the works for the time being. That word comes to us from representative Ken Hong.
Some might take this news to mean LG might instead be focusing on another Nexus handset, but even that seems to be quite dead right now. If you don't remember, LG once denied that they were making the next Nexus phone.
