The Coolpix S2700 is another newly introduced digital camera from Nikon that sports a 16MP 1x2.3″ CCD image sensor, a 26mm wide-angle lens, a 6x optical zoom lens, a 2.7-inch 230K-dot TFT LCD monitor, Nikon's EXPEED C2 image-processing engine, an SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot and 720p HD video recording capabilities. Pricing and release date are still unknown at the moment.
