It was hinted not long ago that Lamborghini would be bringing a couple of brand new baubles to the Geneva Motor Show. Speculation was that one would certainly be the Aventador Roadster, but the other was more difficult to predict – the standard cries being a production version of the Sesto Elemento, a new sedan or a crossover. Well, we still can't be sure what else is coming to Geneva, but if the magazine scan at the Teamspeed forum can be believed – it comes from Italian mag Quattroroute – a new crossover will be heading our way shortly after the Switzerland expo.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus to get an upgraded GPU?

NenaMark 2 is a popular Android benchmark for 3D performance and it offers an online database of results. Interestingly, a Samsung Galaxy Nexus with an updated GPU popped up in the results. The Galaxy Nexus uses a TI OMAP 4460 chipset, which packs a PowerVR SGX540 GPU. That's the same GPU Samsung used in the original Galaxy S. The interesting benchmark result (submitted anonymously) however claims it ran on PowerVR SGX544. It's used in the TI OMAP 4470 chipset, which suggest that the change is due to an upgraded chipset.

Anyway, the GPU scored 39.8fps, while the regular Galaxy Nexus got 24fps when we tested it.

Kepler just nearly doubled science's stock of known exoplanets

NASA released dramatic new findings from the planet-scouting Kepler spacecraft project Thursday. Looks like the universe is way, way more crowded than we had realized. The Space Administration announced Thursday that the Kepler Spacecraft has discovered 26 new exoplanets in 11 systems. This nearly doubles the number of confirmed exoplanets, bringing the tally to 60, and upping the number of known extra-solar star systems to 16. Another 2,300 celestial candidates are awaiting confirmation of their planet-ness.

Verizon to reportedly roll out shared family data plans soon

. Speaking during a UBS conference in December, Verizon CEO Lowell McAdam said the company may roll out shared data plans in 2012. According to an unnamed source, the shared data packages could become available soon, reports Engadget. A family plan currently requires each smartphone to purchase a different data plan, but the new plans could allow all family members to share a single pool of data similar to how a they currently share voice minutes.

Amazon has cut the price of Verizon's HTC Rezound for the third time since its launch, and is now offering the smartphone for only $79.99 on contract. The deal is available only to new customers. If you're an existing Verizon customer and want to upgrade to the Rezound, you'll have to pay $159.99 for it.

BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo coming next March

In spite of the near-Pavlovian howling that commences anytime the BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo is mentioned, and in spite of the 5GT falling so short of its sales target that BMW has been forced to consider bringing back the 5 Series Touring, the ungainly hatch has outsold that wagon during its time on our shores. And that was before it got dressed up with an M Sport package. It shouldn't be a surprise then that the 3 Series GT is still rushing our way, with a report on BMW Blog (not connected to the company) declaring it will be here in March 2013.

Motorola RAZR Developer Edition will ship with an unlocked bootloader

Looking to replace the Blur-contaminated Android on your Motorola RAZR with a custom ROM of your own. Well, it looks like folks in Europe will soon be able to in the future. Motorola has officially announced a phone just for that very purpose. Called the Motorola RAZR Developer Edition, the phone comes with an unlocked bootloader, which will allow the installation of unauthorized code (i.e. a different operating system or custom ROMs).

Motorola has previously announced an unlocking solution for the RAZR, but who would've thought that they were going to release a brand new device instead of offering an easy software solution.

Remember that civil lawsuit looming over the heads of some of the top Silicon Valley companies for conspiring not to poach each other's employees. The latest juicy tidbit to leak from that involves Steve Jobs sending Eric Schmidt an email demanding that Google stop stealing. Reuters say the email, sent in 2007, was quickly acted upon by a receptive Schmidt.

A yet to be announced Nokia Lumia 910 has appeared at a Dutch online retailer. The device sports a spec sheet, quite similar to the U.S. exclusive Lumia 900, save for the lack of LTE radio and the presence of a massive 12MP camera sensor on board - a first from Nokia since the highly revered N8 came into being. There is no launch date available for the device on the retailer's webpage.

Mewtwo coming to Pokemon Black/White for a limited time

Heads up Pokemon Black/White players. If you happen to own a copy of either the Black/White version of Pokemon on your Nintendo DS, you're in luck as it would appear that the Mewtwo Pokemon character will be making its way into the game come February 2012. Pokemon collectors or players will be able to download the Mewtwo Pokemon character onto their DS via the Nintendo W-Fi connection service, but it should be noted that the download will be available for a limited time only. The download will be available on the 12th of February, although we're not sure exactly to what extent is this "limited time".

iPad owns 96% of enterprise market and iPhone share climbs to 53%, study finds

. Enterprise mobile vendor Good Technology published a new study on Thursday revealing iOS's massive market share in the corporate world. The iPad accounted for 96% of all tablets in the fourth quarter according to the firm, while the iPhone accounted for 53% of all smartphones activated by more than 2,000 companies using Good's services in the fourth quarter. Good provides push messaging, device management and security products for corporate mobile users, competing against RIM's BlackBerry Enterprise Server. The company supports Windows Mobile, Symbian, iOS and Android.

Netflix adds 610,000 DVD subscribers, beats Q4 estimates

. Netflix on Wednesday announced its earnings for the fourth quarter of 2011. The company noted $876 million in revenue, up 47% from the same quarter last year, and earnings per share of $0.73. Analysts had pegged the company to report revenue in the ballpark of $857.4 million and EPS of $0.54, Barron's relayed. Netflix also said it added 220,000 new subscribers, a far cry from the 800,000 it lost during the third quarter, and now serves 21.67 million streaming customers in the United States. The Ford Focus sedan comes in four trim flavors, S, SE, SEL and Titanium, while the five-door hatch omits the base S version. Keeping form with past economy car tradition, only the S and SE trims have been offered with a five-speed manual transmission, but that changes with the 2012 Focus: the top-drawer Titanium trim will shortly receive a manual option. According to a report in Car and Driver, enough Ford customers have been specifically asking for a Focus Titanium with the handling pack and the five-speed tranny that the company is going to put it out there.

Facebook announced on Tuesday that the company's Timeline feature will be forced on users “over the next few weeks.” Facebook introduced the Timeline feature last year, which transforms a profile page into a timeline of a user's life, highlighting photos, posts and life events that help tell the user's story. The Chevrolet Sonic marketing shenanigans continue under the rubric of "Let's Do This," this time with a five-story 3D projection of a claw game on the side of The Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles. 2013 Hyundai Elantra Coupe caught undisguised ahead of Chicago debut

Here it is, ladies and gents – the 2013 Hyundai Elantra Coupe. The svelte new two-door will make its official debut at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show in just a few weeks, but our intrepid spy photographers managed to catch this completely uncovered prototype on the back of a flatbed truck. Not surprisingly, the new coupe relies heavily on the same Fluidic Sculpture design language of the award-winning sedan, though subtle tweaks have been made to give the two-door a bit more sporting flare. The foglight housings appear larger and more angular, giving the front end a slightly more aggressive appearance.
