. Verizon Wireless (VZ) on Thursday announced the upcoming availability of the DROID RAZR HD and DROID RAZR MAXX HD. The smartphones build on the success of their predecessors and are equipped with a larger 4.7-inch 720p HD display, a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 4G LTE and NFC connectivity. The DROID RAZR HD includes 16GB of internal storage and will retail for $199.99 with a new two-year agreement, while the DROID RAZR MAXX HD will retail for $299.99, and features a 30% larger 3,300 mAh battery and 32GB of internal storage. Both handsets will be available from Verizon Wireless beginning October 18th.
