It was a fair number of years ago that digital cameras were able to record video as well, and this particular feature first appeared on consumer class digital cameras before making their way towards the high end DSLRs. Of course, over the course of time, it made perfect sense for video recording quality to improve, and with the latest upcoming firmware update that is coming next year for the Canon 5D Mark III, videographers will be able to rely on said DSLR to record uncompressed HDMI video, now how about that.
