WARNING: Rooting your device may void its warranty. One of the main reasons why people get Android phones is because of its power and ability to customize the heck out of it. That's not to say that phones of other platforms aren't customizable, it's just that Android offers users the ability to tweak its overall look right out of the box thanks to the use of widgets, launchers and other mods that can be downloaded from the Google Play store.
However there are times when the user might be begging for deeper customization and this is where "rooting" comes in.
