Twitter, the microblogging website that serves as a messaging platform for an estimated 500 million users has gotten a Communications Chief of its own. Former Google PR Director and spokesman Gabriel Stricker is moving to Twitter to lead its communications team. Gabriel Stricker announced his decision via a tweet which he mentioned was his first tweet ever. Before Stricker, two former Google employees, Karen Wickre and Carolyn Penner were employed to be in the Communications Staff which will now be headed by him after previous PR chief; Sean Garrett stepped down last November.
