Apple wins patents for iTunes Store, Time Machine, iPad Smart Cover and more

According to Patently Apple, the Cupertino tech giant that is Apple has just won a new set of patents that will define its direction in the future years to come. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has granted the release of twenty-five new patents for Apple. The agency declared that the aforementioned patents are mostly utility-based patents for such things like connectors, security, networking and more.
But perhaps one of the most significant patents that Apple has in possession now is a second patent for the iTunes Store including its rental system, first filed to the USPTO in 2008.
