
SKYTEX Technology has just announced the launch of its upcoming Android tablet - the SKYPAD Alpha 2. Arriving in time for Christmas, the SKYPAD Alpha 2 features a 1.2GHz ARM Cortex-A8 CPU paired with a Mali-400 graphics processor, a 7″ 800 x 480 capacitive display, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread (Ice Cream Sandwich promised for early 2012), HDMI output, WiFi, Bluetooth and a 3,000mAh battery. The tablet also features a front-facing VGA camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB slot for connecting external plug and play devices (keyboard, mice, USB drives etc).
