T-Mobile's New iOS Update Opens Up LTE For Unlocked iPhone Subscribers

T-Mobile's New iOS Update Opens Up LTE For Unlocked iPhone Subscribers

T-Mobile now finally gets the iPhone, it launches the flagship Apple smartphone on April 12th. Previously users who had unlocked their carrier locked iPhones, or those who simply had a factory unlocked one, were able to connect to T-Mobile's HSPA+ network. T-Mobile has officially rolled out its 4G LTE network and it would be a shame if unlocked iPhone users were not able to connect to it. There's word going around that T-Mobile will be releasing an iOS firmware update for unlocked iPhone subscribers on April 5th. This update will allow access to AWS spectrum bands, which is geek talk for unadulterated access to the carrier's LTE network.
