TechCrunch reports that 20% of all neighborhoods in Kansas City have already met their sign-up goals to bring in Google's (GOOG) 1Gbps fiber service, just four days after the company first announced availability of the new network. Essentially, Google has given each designated neighborhood in Kansas City until September 9th to have a certain percentage of its residents sign up for Google Fiber in order to get priority for service installation.
