We knew that the Samsung Galaxy Note would arrive to Australia at some point, and now it has finally happened. The Note can be bought from Optus, which is offering it for free on contract ($79 per month). Ausdroid has it that Vodafone Australia is offering the handset on contract, too, although the carrier's website doesn't show any sign of it yet (I assume the situation is different in brick-and-mortar stores).
Reportedly, Telstra will also release the Note, but only starting next month (April).
In case you want to get the Galaxy Note contract-free and unlocked, you can do that, too.
