Been waiting to get your grubby hands on AT&T’s HTC One X. Well, you can now head over to the carrier’s website and pre-order one for yourself. Or, if 50 bucks means something to you, wait a while and book one through RadioShack where, as I reported yesterday, it might only cost $149.99.

Huawei Ascend G 132 lands at FCC, unsurprisingly sports T-Mobile myTouch moniker

It's far from a secret that T-Mobile has been cooking up its next myTouch handset with Huawei (also known as the Ascend G 132), and now the phone has landed at the door of the FCC. According to the label location diagrams, it plays nice with HSPA, UMTS, GPRS, GSM and Edge, but there's no indication of whether this is the QWERTY variant we spotted at the company's headquarters. If you'll recall, Huawei has this 4-inch (WVGA) device pegged to ship with Android Ice Cream Sandwich, running atop a 1.4GHz Qualcomm MSM8255T SoC with 1GB of RAM that's supplemented by 4GB of on-board storage.

Get the LG Optimus M+ for $129 from MetroPCS

Want a cheap, off-contract phone, and live within the MetroPCS coverage area. Then the Optimus M+ might interest you quite a bit. For $129, you get the Gingerbread phone with a 3.5-inch HVGA screen, 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, 800MHz processor, 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0 and a microSD memory card slot. Not too shabby for the price, and personally I like the presence of such options.

Antitrust suit carries on against Intel, Apple, Google and others

They can hope and pray all that they want, but Google, Intel, Apple, Adobe, Intuit, Pixar and Lucasfilm will soon be facing some serious accusations in a courtroom under the Sherman Antitrust Act and California's Cartwright Act. After years of trying to dodge legal action over an “informal agreement” to not pinch each other's employees, and an effort to have the case dismissed, the seven defendants will have to stand trial as ordered by District Judge Lucy Koh in San Jose, California.
